Chelsi is the kind of girl that you can’t help but find magnetic. She has the most radiant smile – and I was instantly in love with their love. Justin had this charming way about him, and the most amazing ability to watch after Chelsi, take care of her and make sure she’s happy. I love relationships like theirs. It’s like you can just feel every look they give each other, you know what I mean?

Even though the weather was a bit sketchy for their wedding day, their tented ceremony at Club Continental was emotional and sentimental. Reading the vows she wrote from her iPhone, and with her grandmother’s handkerchief in hand, Chelsi laughed and cried her way through each sentence. Standing along side of her that day, her best friend – her mom, Trina.

Chelsi and Justin had a big surprise for their wedding day. An elaborate day of rustic-chic-modern details brought together a woodsy relaxed theme with Jimmy Choo and JLM. Photographers themselves, Justin and Chelsi met a few years earlier and celebrated their new marriage with a re-branding of their own photography studio. Some of their unique details included custom camera cufflinks, Mr. and Mrs. Shaw Canvas All-Star shoes, rustic bird caketoppers, a vintage candy bar and mis-matched bottle centerpieces. But that wasn’t the best surprise that day – Chelsi had just recently found out she was 16 weeks pregnant! So their amazing marriage was celebrated with one extra little peanut – their new son, Baby Shaw (whom I affectionately referred to as “Tater” all night).

It was a beautiful day celebrating with Justin and Chelsi, their family and friends, and all the people that came to support their new lives and family together. It’s an amazing transition – from fiance, to wife, to mother – all within a year’s time. But if anyone can handle the new world she’s been thrown in to, it would be Chelsi. I’m so honored to have met and gotten to know such a gorgeous couple, and I can’t wait to officially meet Mister Tater in a few months!
