Carissa and David | Married

December 29, 2011

October 22, 2011 | Tampa, FL

Everything about Carissa and David’s plans for a classic evening wedding in downtown Tampa was just so…. them! Even though they live in Colorado, they planned every detail of their event with the help of their parents and their amazing coordinator, Barb. And from the moment we showed up, we could see their plans come together from their gorgeous red accents to their candlelit reception.

And since I’m a detail girl – one of my favorite details was the snowboard cufflinks that Carissa got for David! Another great detail was Carissa’s bouquet, which was wrapped with her mom’s wedding gown fabric. It was absolutely stunning!

I thought this would be the perfect wedding to share this holiday season because it was one of those weddings that made me feel all warm and had the perfect touches of romance and sweet, personalized details.

Absolutely awesome! I am in awe of your skills :-) Just shot my first wedding on 12/17 and had such problems with lighting. Ceremony was in a church and they didn’t allow a flash during the ceremony. Downlighting only from a super high ceiling…yuk! All your ceremony and reception shots are so gorgeously lit! Would LOVE if you shared your tips on lighting and noise and stopping movement with background bokeh in low light/indoor venues. Again, your work is spectacular!!
