Yay! It’s another fashion shoot to blog!

Maria and I have been planning on shooting together for so long now, that I almost didn’t believe it when the universe aligned and our schedules allowed us to work together! Planning a shoot while Maria was in Miami walking fashion week, and I was in the middle of 3 weddings wasn’t the easiest task, but thanks to the help of her stylist friend, Chris, and the outstanding designer, Eduardo de las Casas (and Paul!), we finally got it together!

HUGE thanks to Heather Schnell for coming out and doing makeup (and a bit of hair!) for us! She’s amazing!

This shoot also caused quite a bit of ruckus on Facebook (my favorite shot of Maria was actually removed by Facebook for being “inappropriate” – thanks to whomever reported me )

So let the conversation begin!

Maria and I decided to play around with some of Eduardo’s absolutely fantastic gowns. Love his work so much!

Eduardo was named as the New Emerging Designer at Miami Fashion Week 2008. Keep an eye on this guy!

Before leaving for Ohio, I got a call from Melanie Pace (fashionista extraordinaire) who asked me about shooting an upcoming model, Nayara. Of course I’ll always drop everything for Melanie, but I was really glad to meet Nayara and our location was amazing. Not bad for something pulled together last minute

Oh, and FYI: when shooting in the middle of July, in Florida, on the hottest day of the year (103 degrees) and on the rooftop of a downtown Orlando condo, at a pool…. wear sunscreen. Especially if you’re paler than a volleyball.

I give you… Nayara!

So one of my Bucket List goals is to be on a Reality TV show (um, but it must be produced by Bravo, because theirs are the best ever! Markus and Indrani watch out!), and I’ve decided that if someone makes a reality show about me, Justin must be on it. I heart this guy! He’s funny, spunky and oh-so-adorable!

He’s a realtor in Orlando, and a past coworker of mine when I worked for Engle Homes. It’s been great to see him do his own thing, and I’m so proud of everything he’s got going on! I’m also super excited for Lindsey and Jason’s wedding in Longboat Key in October, because Justin is her Man of Honor and I hear he has a showstopping suit

When Justin contacted me about doing his new headshots, we knew we had to push the envelope a little bit and do something dramatic and more fashion-y. We did some more traditional shots during the shoot, but of course I tend to love the more intense side of Justin!

‘Nuff said.

So here are my favorite shots from Justin’s shoot for his new Realtor marketing goodness!

When I went down to Miami a few months back, I got together with one of the models I worked with here in Orlando. She moved to Miami and has been working and going to school down there, so I definitely wanted to meet up and shoot! We decided to do a boudoir session since our hotel was so amazingly awesome! Shooting with Andrea is always so much fun – lots of laughs and I always look forward to working with her!

I love little Andrea, and I can’t wait to see her again!

On my recent trip to Nashville, TN, I got to work with one little fireball of ambition – Kyra. Fun and fiesty, she’s been writing songs and recording them since the days of her Fisher Price recorder (even using a second recorder to add background vocals and harmonies) and has grown to write with Grammy winners and appeared in music videos for Alan Jackson, Kings of Leon and Eric Church. Most recently, she toured London and Denmark with ELECTRIC CHURCH. I loved spending the morning with her (and an early morning it was!) and teaming up with my girls Katie Russo (makeup and styling) and Nicole Beth (hair). It’s always fun bringing our ol’team back together!
