Since my last blog was rudely shut down (sad days when a blogging company that supports the arts industry looses funding), I’ve been wanting to re-post some old shoots that have been my favorites to shoot!

Back in January 2008, I had the privilege of working with the William Taber Salon in Jacksonville for a rockin’ hair shoot. The girls are Paul Mitchell experts, and I had a blast spending the day with them. My main girl, Nicole Beth Miller, is an extraordinary hair stylist and she introduced me to Hope – who has such a beautiful vision for her salon. They’re all so talented!

The makeup was done by Tim, who came all the way down from Savannah, GA!

Saturday Renee Choquette and Jonathan Martin tied the big knot in Daytona Beach, FL at the Plaza Resort and Spa. They had the most beautiful weather for their beautiful event, and I was so blessed to meet these 2 fabulous people.

Stephanie and her team from Weddings by Stephanie coordinated the event – and I’m looking forward to working with them again!

Renee had the cutest gift for Jon – a card and little boudoir album for him taken by a photographer up in Connecticut! The album was gorgeous and I know Jon must of loved it!

The guys had such a fabulous look in chocolate browns and golds. Normally, I’d guess the Bride had more to do with coordinating the men’s fashion, but now that I know what I know about Jon… I wouldn’t put it past him that he had a little something to do with it

Tried something a little different for the pictures of the girls and guys. It worked

We had a little issue with the veil in our “wind tunnel” – but it makes for a fun photo op!

Apparently, Jon wore these socks to irritate Renee. Not only were they argyle… but they didn’t even match each other!

Ok, so yes, we all love the jumping photo from far away. But up close, it’s even better. I can’t even find Jon’s legs… and Nicole is STILL posing, even while jumping. That’s skill!

These details and colors were so beautiful!

One of my favorite touches I’ve seen at a reception – Renee and Jon had old photos from their parents and grandparents weddings lined up at the cocktail tables during cocktail hour. Afterwards, they moved them in to the reception hall. The one on the left is my absolute favorite. They apparently have beauty and fashion-sense in their genes.

Renee and Jon, I just wanted to thank both of you for trusting me with your photos. I truly enjoyed working with you, and can’t wait for you to get back from Cancun (although, I’m sure you could probably wait…). I love you guys!

Yay! Yesterday was the beautiful wedding of Renee and Jon Martin! I love this couple! They were so much fun and I had the best time shooting their wedding yesterday at the Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach.

Renee, who’s originally from Daytona but lives in CT now, met Jon in college and shared an incurable fashion sense, sense of humor and great friends! In fact, I’m sort of hoping their groomsman Oscar will be my friend now, too! Everyone was so much fun to spend the day with and their wedding was every bit as beautiful as it should have been, thanks to the details and coordination of Weddings by Stephanie!

Ahhh! So excited to post these amazing pictures of Renee from her bridal shoot! I’ve been waiting to show these off for months! Her wedding is today (I’m actually there right now, ahhh I love advanced blogging), and I’m overly excited to be there for her big day with Jon!

One of the reasons I love living in Florida are the beautiful storms we have here – and the multitude of creatures that end up on our windows and doors!
