No one ever would have known that Elizabeth and Chad’s wedding plans were slightly altered from an outdoor reception to a ballroom fete – but give it to the amazing skill of her wedding planners to create the most beautifully classic black and white reception in the gorgeously redecorated Hyatt ballroom! Among so many favorite moments of the day, Elizabeth shared a beautiful “first look” with her bridesmaids so they could see her amazing backless Inbal Dror lace gown!

Their ceremony started off with the perfect entrance to a slowed crescendo of Latch just as Elizabeth walked down the aisle to a tearfully happy Chad :) A tiny sprinkle outside gave a cozy mood to their covered, candlelit ceremony and they exchanged vows just as the sun began to set.

Elizabeth and Chad worked with alongside the talented designer Kristen from An Affair to Remember to make their day perfection. Not having seen anything from the reception, I took them inside for a “peek” before the doors opened to guests, and they were completely surprised by how the team transformed the ballroom to a black, white, gold and candlelight  oasis!

I’ve said this a few times before – but let me reiterate how much I absolutely LOVE covered dance floors. There is absolutely nothing else (save maybe uplighting) that can completely change a space in to something extraordinary. I just can’t see their reception with a wooden dancefloor, or even just plain white! They actually had a custom designed black and white striped dance floor with a gold-trimmed monogram. It was THAT good. Seriously.

I loved their classic art-deco style perfectly mixed with all the romance of lace and chivalry! Not to mention, I had an amazing “ride” with this gorgeous couple over the last year and am just so beyond happy for them!
