Historic Church Street Wedding
November 11, 2016 | Natalie and Glenn
Natalie and Glenn were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the historic Ballroom at Church Street! I feel like I’ve spent a lot of time with Natalie’s family over the past few years, so it was definitely a huge honor when she asked me to photograph her wedding!
Natalie and Glenn’s “meeting” story is one of my faves, too! Natalie was getting her crossfit on at her gym when Glenn came in to join. He stuck around to get Natalie’s, very sweaty, phone number! She figured if a guy could still think she looked cute after crossfit, she had really found herself a keeper!
Glenn and his son, Reece, welcomed Natalie in to their lives with open arms and she fit right in! I can’t even tell you how much they make me (and everyone else who knows them) smile! Their wedding was absolutely no exception – at one point, Reece actually challenged Glenn to a dance-off. After the entire wedding guests took sides, Reece and Glenn left it all on the dance floor to see who would take home the not-actually-a-challenge trophy!
Now, for the wedding! Natalie and Glenn chose a beautiful historic venue in Orlando – the Ballroom at Church Street! Part of Church Street Station (built in the late 1800’s), this gorgeous stained-glass atrium and ballroom was the perfect setting for their vintage-inspired party. They added touches of greenery and rustic farmwood tables for the reception, and custom made signs for their atrium ceremony.
