And just a quick little end note; I’m debating against hosting any more one-on-one workshops. Although I love to teach and spend time getting to know all of these fantastic photographers, my focus in 2012 is altering slightly and I’m looking at new ways to help others. So I decided to start my own online networking site to help out other photographers, join my clients together – and just really feel like I have a family out in internet world! I’m hoping that everyone uses it to network, help each other out (I LOVE the forums and have been posting some of my own How To’s and topics), and even for some of my past clients to help my current clients with wedding planning! It’s such a crazy world out there – it’s really been bringing us just a little bit closer together

First was my feature of Candice and Kevin’s amazing Santa Monica wedding on the front page of Style Me Pretty! Even more exciting is all of the comments about both of Candice’s stunning gowns! Her ceremony gown, the Kristene by Claire Pettibone and then her self-designed reception cocktail gown! Candice is so talented, and I can’t wait to feature more of her gorgeous bridal gowns soon! Hmm… I sense a bridal fashion shoot coming on…..

Then, to see 2 of my favorite fashion shoots featured on one of the best inspirational fashion blogs in the industry, The Photography Link! I can’t tell you how much I drool over the work presented on his blog, that I was nearly floored when he asked to feature some of my own work!

First, my shoot from Nashville that has never been published or viewed in it’s entirety, featuring new model Ashley Fisher.

Second was my published fashion shoot of Courtney Vogler for Dujour Magazine

It’s not often that many photographers get to imagine their work showcased next to masters like Yervant and Elizabeth Messina, but that’s exactly where some of my work resides on the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Inspiration Galleries! To say that it’s an honor to have such an amazing publication feature my work would be the understatement of the century. But I couldn’t possibly take full credit – because they featured work from our Green Wedding shoot, which was born from the creative imaginations of a team of amazing vendors, and I wanted to thank them for their involvement and share this honor with each of them!

I’m feeling a little “better-than-you” when I share that I purposely make him bring his guitar for my own little performance (one of the perks of my job!) and got a sneak peek of the Good Day song back when we shot his album cover in October!

Now, I’m not generally a big country music fan (except that Garth Brooks is one of my all-time favorites…. but most country fans tell me he’s too mainstream, so whatever), but Josh has me hooked on his soulful lyrics and smooth voice – not to mention those killer guitar (and piano) skills! Mindy is one lucky girl to have such a sweetheart by her side!
