I guess I “officially” first met Vanessa at last year’s Images for a Cure Workshop when she attended my fashion bridal shoot! She’s a local photographer with the cutest little family ever! Fashionable, sweet – and Stephanie even taught me a little Portuguese! (a little…. and I don’t remember any of it

So I wanted to officially introduce you to Gregory, Vanessa and their daughter, Stephanie!

The best thing about Stephanie – she literally did all of her own posing. And all these candid shots – totally her. I didn’t have to suggest.

Every once in awhile, you meet someone who has the uncanny ability to sucker you in to the most ridiculous situations. Thank you, Kristen Johnson.

This is the day that I, Kristen Weaver, shot a children’s First Birthday Party.

Surrounded by babies, and juice boxes, plus the obligatory dad-on-grill-drinking-beer, I entered the strange world of mashing cake, drool and sippy cups.

But how do you celebrate your first birthday when your mom is part of one of the best Event Coordination practices in Orlando? With a Chicago Cubs themed birthday party, complete with concession stand, treats, a ball-field, and the most amazing cake-treats by Party Flavors!

Happy First Birthday Luke! And thanks for letting me celebrate with you, Kristen But, the next time you want to hang out – I vote Olive Garden!

A little bit of Sugar

With all the traveling I’ve been doing, I’m a little rusty on blog posting… but hopefully I can show you how much I adore this little family with their cute pictures!

Amanda owns one of the cutest bridal shops here in Orlando, Something Blue Bridal Salon. She is also the gorgeous wife of Noah, and mommy to little Sugar Lump! She has her hands full, but always still makes the time for lunch with me, dress-up in her store, and helping me out with Images for a Cure! I mean, what more could you ask for in a friend?

By the end of the session, poor little Sugar Lump was pooped!

The Schoenrock Family

Heather gets some big award for being my most patient client. So I’ve been incredibly wrapped up in Images for a Cure lately and as much as I try to evenly dish out my time, things always get out of control when it’s just one of me (although Alyssa and Reema are putting in some serious hours to help me out!). So after about 20 emails promising her blog post, I’m finally able to get it up for her!

I was so excited to meet Heather, who I’ve been chatting with on Facebook for awhile now! She actually participated as a client in Images for a Cure this past fall, hiring local photographer Jessica Liane to photograph her beautiful family! But seriously, if I was Heather and Kevin, I’d be taking more pics of her adorable little girls, too! They are the most precious little bits of blonde hair and flowers!

Thank you, Heather, for being so patient with my crazy schedule lately! Please give Taylor and Ella the biggest hug for me, and I promise they can come back anytime to hang out with the chickens!

6 months. It’s a tough time for a kid. I mean, you’ve got all this stuff to say and just can’t find the words. Literally. Probably because you don’t know them yet.

So you do what Brady does. He talks… a lot. And he uses his hands and face to tell us 10 minute long stories about his troubles.

I’ve been taking pictures of this little goober since he was a fetus (word of the week!), and now – I get to share his celebration of being exactly one half of one year old! (Or… if you’ve been following my facebook page, Thanksgiving-Turkey-sized!

Oh, and PS – this session is actually being posted in backwards order until Anthony can figure out how to make it stop doing that
